NYSPRA has been named a 2018 Exemplary Chapter in the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Mark of Distinction Awards program.

The Mark of Distinction was given to NYSPRA for being an Exemplary Chapter in the Special Focus Area: Professional Development/PR Skill Building for its year-round program. 

NSPRA judges were impressed with NYSPRA's "efforts to grow the chapter, develop a five-year strategic plan, and increase the value of membership through professional development and frequent communication."

The NYSPRA leadership team is dedicated and focused on continually improving the value of membership,” said NYSPRA President Bill Cameron. “We are excited about the direction the chapter is headed and will continue to do the work needed to put together the best resources and professional development for our members.”
